vintage thread & sashiko thread bundles

i am currently buying a bunch of thread for taking back to canada for my workshops (and my own projects) - so in order to offset the costs of buying and shipping it to canada, i'm going to be selling some of it in bundles here. depending on how popular these are, i may make more bundles! 

vintage silk thread: this is very old, 100% silk thread. some of it is still new in package and some of it is opened and used - most of what i have included in these bundles is new. this thread (in my experience) is very strong and high quality. i use it almost exclusively and i enjoy it much more than cotton thread. 

sashiko thread: this quality / length is very hard if not impossible to find outside of japan. i have had people tell me they find the little cards of daruma sashiko thread but that is only 40m per card, and the thread is quite a bit thinner. 

this sashiko thread is on the thick end of the sashiko thread thicknesses - the kind that i sew all of my projects with (even the 170m (thinner) thread is quilt a lot thicker than the daruma sashiko thread sold on cards).

this is not the same as the olympus thread and will not break when sewing through the house jacket or other thick projects like my quilts.
